Monday June 1st. Get some Sun All Village City Parks, including the Duffner Park splashpad, are open for fun! Splah down and cool off, or simply take a walk outside and touch grass. Our city has absolutelybeautiful parks and this is the best weather to take advantage of all the hard work our Parks Department does for all of us!

Tuesday June 2,2026. Sip and Savor Heat getting to you? Check out the refreshing drinks and savory eats at Deem Laow right here in the Village. Come to 10702 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73120 and every Tuesday this month is Tiki Tuesday where they will be serving fresh coconuts and tropical inspired cocktails.

Friday June 5, 2026. 4PM-5PM Chess Club
It’s your move! Want to increase your memory and concentration or practice logical thinking skills? Come to the Village Library and learn how to play chess or develop your existing skills against other players in a friendly environment. Players of all abilities are welcome. Chess boards are provided and library materials are available for further learning. This is a recurring event and takes place every Friday.
Saturday June 6, 2026. 1PM-2PM. Can you Dig it?
Archaeologists use a variety of tools and techniques to study the past. As technology has advanced, so has archaeology's use of new technologies. In this program at our local Village Library, participants will learn about the different tools and techniques archaeologists use in the field, lab, and during research. Space is limited-- please register ahead of time with the Village Library to ensure your spot!
Monday June 8, 2026. 6:PM-8PM City Civics The City of the Village city council meets once a month. Come to City Hall and meet your Mayor, Vice Mayor, and Council Members. Tuesday June 9. 2026. 9AM-9PM Postcards from America America's 250th is coming up! Do you remember (or know someone who remembers) what we did in 1976? Come to the Village Library and learn a little history-- and write a few postcards to a friend, or to our future selves. Kit also includes a crafty decoration for your front door that you could put up for Flag Day or Independence Day! As always, there's a reading and resource list too.
Saturday June 13, 2026. 3PM-5PM. Adult Coloring!
Are you an adult who enjoys coloring? Come to the Village Library and have a nice social visit with other adults and bring your coloring supplies! We will also have some coloring sheets and art supplies available.
Thursday Jun 25, 2026. 2PM-2:45PM. Lyric Theatre Tumble down the rabbit hole into a world of wonder with this lively play, perfect for families and young dreamers. The Village Library presents a joyful performance, based on Lewis Carroll's classic story and presented by the students of the Lyric Academy, celebrates imagination, friendship, and courage. Follow Alice, the White Rabbit, and all the beloved characters as they solve silly riddles, navigate the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, and discover that curiosity can lead to.
